Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been reacting to a report that has claimed Roma and new manager Jose Mourinho are keen on Daniel Podence.
Gazzetta dello Sport believe the forward is of interest to The Special One, who takes charge of the Serie A side this summer.
He apparently kept a close eye on Podence while managing Tottenham Hotspur.
The 25-year-old has had a difficult season in 2020/21.
He’s shown glimpses of talent, but fitness issues have prevented him from making the big impact he would have hoped for.
He recently underwent surgery on his groin, and will hopefully be back ready for the start of the 2020/21 season.
But it remains to seen what colour jersey he’ll be wearing, if there is any truth to Gazzetta’s report.
Podence only signed for Wolves in January 2020, and is still yet to really prove his worth at Molineux.
On social media, fans have been reacting to the link.
It seems that many are urging club officials to think about cashing in on Podence given his struggles for consistency:
Let him go
