Will he or won’t he?
That’s the question a lot of Wolverhampton Wanderers fans currently have regarding midfielder Vitinha.
It has been claimed by Record that the club will not be triggering their option to buy the player, which expires tomorrow.
My Revenge On Ben Foster
But that is countered by O Jogo, who say the exact opposite and that Wolves will exercise the option.
Time will tell, and it could probably go either way.
Vitinha did catch the eye at times last season.
Unfortunately for him though, he was not afforded too many opportunities by Nuno Espirito Santo.
It’s previously been claimed that Wolves would tie up a deal for the 21-year-old by June 30.
But The Athletic reported last week that Wolves officials had not been totally convinced by Vitinha’s contributions on loan.
Fans have been having their say on the matter on social media today.
Whether the club should sign Vitinha permanently seems to be divisive topic.
Plenty believe Wolves would be making a mistake to let him go back to Porto.
Others aren’t exactly clamouring for him to be brought back:
We need to sign him istg if we dont

He has to be signed https://t.co/PFYKahebUv

Guy needs to play, can only assume that whatever the club has planned for the midfield this season he wouldn’t be getting enough minutes to warrant the €20m. Can’t wait for him to officially sign about 20 minutes after I hit send on this tweet.

Will be like Pedro Goncalves, we’ll regret it

This feels like a mistake – he’s shown enough to think he’ll be high calibre – admittedly he had a slow start. But having now invested game time and training in him another team will reap the benefit. This looks like Pedro Goncalves all over again!

Let him go.

Massive mistake

Personally not bothered if we don’t sign Vitinha…Had 1 decent game for us, rest of the time he was bang average, Nuno watched him day in day out training & didn’t pick him, reckon there’s better options out there, you’d think he was Messi listening to some Wolves fans
