Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Goncalo Guedes from Valencia.
According to the Daily Mail, the winger feels as though the Premier League may suit his game better than La Liga, and Wolves are in the frame to land him.
Guedes, who is a client of Jorge Mendes, cost the Spanish club £36 million back in 2018, having spent a season on loan at the Mestalla.
It hasn’t been the best of stints for Guedes at Los Che.
The Portugal international has made 128 appearances for the club to date, but only scored 20 goals and made 22 assists.
He has not really kicked on as expected, and it seems his time there could be coming to an end.
It’s claimed by the Daily Mail that Wolves could look to use Patrick Cutrone plus cash to try and land him – the Italian is currently on loan there.
The report also states that Wolves are still considering selling Adama Traore, which would be how they’d raise funds to buy Guedes.
On social media, fans have reacted to the reported interest in Guedes.
It seems that despite his struggles in Spain, some feel like he would actually come in and do well at Molineux, although a few are skeptical:
Yes please!!

Great business. Cheap, and a good player. I can see him being worth 40 mil again.
