Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been reacting to a claim from the Italian media today that the club are keeping an eye on Aaron Ramsey.

TuttoJuve have claimed that Wolves are following the Wales international, whose spell with the Old Lady has been far from fruitful.

Ramsey left the Premier League in the summer of 2019 after running down his contract with Arsenal, much to the disappointment of many Gunners supporters at the time.

The 30-year-old has racked up a total of 55 appearances for the club so far, and scored six goals and made four assists.

Competition for midfield places is tough at the Allianz Stadium, and he isn’t always selected to start games by Andrea Pirlo.

TuttoJuve say the club could look to offload Ramsey in the summer, and value him between €10-15 million.

Apparently Tottenham Hotspur are also tracking, but any move to Jose Mourinho’s team would surely be massively unlikely given his Arsenal affiliation.

At Molineux, Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho may have both been on the scoresheet against Arsenal on Tuesday, but Wolves have lacked goals from midfield this season.

Some were clamouring for the club to sign someone in January to address that, but striker Willian Jose was the only incoming.

Before leaving for Juventus, Ramsey was known for being a box-to-box midfielder capable of scoring goals and assisting.

Potentially he would be a good signing for the Wanderers, but his current wages are obscene with BBC Sport reporting that he takes home £400,000-a-week basic.

He’d have to take a significant pay-cut if Wolves were to sign him.

On social media, some fans have been reacting to the report, with many loving the idea:
