Wolves fans react as Patrick Cutrone seals Valencia loan move

Some Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been giving their reactions, after Patrick Cutrone officially joined Valencia on loan last night.

The Italian striker is beginning another new chapter, having experienced a hectic past few weeks.

The 23-year-old was recently recalled from his loan spell with Fiorentina early due to a lack of game time, and made four appearances for Wolves in January, including one start against Chorley in the FA Cup.

It was thought Cutrone would be retained until the end of the season as cover for the recuperating Raul Jimenez.

But that has proven not to be the case.

The decision was taken by the club to sign Willian Jose from Real Sociedad, with the Brazilian joining on a season-long loan.

Despite initially stating that he wasn’t looking to loan out Cutrone again, Nuno then confirmed after the defeat to Crystal Palace (Sky Sports) that the player was close to joining La Liga club Valencia.

Nuno and Rafa Mir’s former club are struggling a little at the moment, and are only four points above the relegation zone.

They’ll be hoping Cutrone is able to hit the ground running pretty quickly.

On social media, some Wolves fans have been reacting to new of Cutrone’s latest move, with a few people not too happy about his treatment:
