Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been reacting to claims Newcastle United have made a bid for Dion Sanderson.

The Magpies have reportedly put forth an offer, with the Mirror claiming it to be worth £1.5 million and The Athletic saying £1 million.

Sanderson is supposedly on Steve Bruce’s radar, following a great season on loan at Sunderland in 2020/21.

The centre-half became a key player for the Black Cats, as they came up just short in their bid for promotion.

Sanderson’s form has led to speculation he could depart this summer.

A decision is to be made, with the 21-year-old’s contract expiring in a year’s time.

The Athletic say Wolves have offered him a new deal, which he has rejected.

The club are apparently confident of reaching an agreement though.
