Wolves fans have been reacting on social media to reports of interest in Juventus winger Douglas Costa.
Calciomercato have claimed the Black Country club are preparing a bid for the Brazilian, having just lost Diogo Jota to Liverpool.
Costa is reportedly not in Andrea Pirlo’s plans going forwards, and is available for transfer this window.

The South American has made 102 appearances for his current club, scoring 10 goals and making 21 assists.
He made his name at Shakhtar Donetsk, making over 200 appearances and scoring 38 goals as well as providing 40 assists.
That led to a move to Bayern Munich, where he spent a couple of seasons before heading to Juve on loan initially.
Across his stints at Bayern and Juve, 29-year-old Costa has been able to taste success in the form of two Bundesliga titles and three Scudettos. He’s also won one German Cup and one Italian Cup.

Costa – who supposedly takes home £105,000-a-week (CM) – is an attractive-sounding name and while the player obviously has an abundance of talent, the reality is that he has regularly struggled with injury in recent times.
Transfermarkt information shows he’s had various problems every season since 2015/16, which could make any Wolves move a gamble.
Fans on social media appeared to recognise Costa as a great player, but several could not hide their concerns about his age and injury record:
Imagine 😍

I feel it’s convenient timing. We’ve just come into the Jota cash & they’re drumming up interest in Italy. Maybe same story with Semedo but I’d take them both!

I’d rather have Pepê, Douglas Costa is a great player but he’s 30 whilst Pepê seems to fit the club project profile better
