Wolves fans have been reacting to reports the club are set to sign talented young full-back Rayan Aït-Nouri.

According to Le Score, the Black Country club are poised to land the teenage left-back from French outfit Angers.

Supposedly Aït-Nouri has been on the radar of Real Madrid and other European heavyweights, but it seems Wolves are very much in pole position.

The French U21 international is very highly regarded over in his homeland, and turned out 17 times in Ligue 1 last term for his club.

Aït-Nouri is understood to be ready to pen a four-year contract at Molineux, and the talk comes amid speculation that Ruben Vinagre is heading to Olympiacos on loan with an option to buy.

The Portuguese youngster has seemingly not done enough to convince Nuno Espirito Santo to field him as the injured Jonny’s replacement.

With the club having already signed Fernando Marcal as well, the Aït-Nouri development pretty much rubber-stamps his exit.

It will come as no surprise to Wolves fans to learn that Jorge Mendes is the man behind the operation.

If Aït-Nouri does complete his move as expected, he’ll become the club’s seventh signing of the summer after Matija Sarkic (already loaned out), Fabio Silva, Fernando Marcal, Ki-Jana Hoever, Vitinha and Nelson Semedo.

Some Wolves fans on social media were overjoyed about Aït-Nouri seemingly being close to joining.
