Wolves fans have been reacting to reports of interest in Christian Eriksen.

The club are being linked (Gianluca Di Marzio, via Daily Mail) with a January swoop for the playmaker, who is expected to depart Inter Milan after just one year at the club.

The Denmark international has struggled to make the desired impact in Serie A, and is not seen to be a good fit for Antonio Conte’s system.

He hasn’t featured in any of the last four games in the league, and didn’t even make the matchday squad against Hellas Verona on December 23.

Inter’s form being so good in 2020/21 has not helped Eriksen’s cause, with Conte’s system and tactics clearly working well enough without him.

The player has admitted things have been a struggle, and the club’s CEO Beppe Marotta has opened the door for his potential exit this month.

Supposedly Wolves are in talks with Eriksen’s representatives about a potential return to the Premier League for the 28-year-old. Sky Sports have since suggested these claims are wide of the mark.

Goals and assists from midfield have been in extremely short supply in recent times, and the reported Eriksen interest has therefore struck a chord with some Wolves fans.

He may not have had a good past year, but it seems a number of Wolves supporters would still take Eriksen this month if the price was right:
