Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been reacting to an update on the Ruben Neves situation.
The midfielder is reportedly a target for Arsenal this summer.
The Gunners have bid farewell to Dani Ceballos following his loan spell, and it seems Neves is seen as a potential replacement.
The latest from the Telegraph is that Arsenal will make a move later this week for the maestro.
They claim that Wolves are hoping to secure a minimum fee of £40 million for any transfer.
That follows the claim from The Athletic recently that the club expect to sell for £35 million.
Apparently Neves is open to leaving Molineux, with the player having been at the club for four years now.
He has made fantastic contributions to the recent rise of the club, and it’s likely he would depart with the blessing of many supporters – if the price was right.
Fans have been taking to social media to discuss the latest on the 24-year-old.
The £40 million asking price claim certainly seems to have divided supporters:
i’m not opposed to this for 40 million at all

if they use the Neves money wisely this could be a good deal, try and get Guedes or Palhinha, i’m not as upset at selling as i would have been a season or two ago, just feels like he has gone down a level

Sell one of our best players to a club in decline that we should be overtaking ? If the board do this they send a very clear signal that we are going nowhere . Absolutely fuming about this https://t.co/2FqHnVcFdn
