Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly keen to sign Adrian Embarba from Espanyol.
That’s the claim from AS, who mention a number of clubs are tracking the 29-year-old.
Embarba has just finished off a great season, scoring nine goals and making 14 assists for his team.
His contributions proved key to helping the club gain promotion back to La Liga.
But Embarba’s future is a little bit in doubt at present.
Despite him being an important player within the squad, he apparently isn’t even amongst the top 10 earners at the club.
That said, it’s supposedly his desire to pen a new deal with the Catalan outfit.
Wolves fans have been giving their verdicts on the transfer link on social media.
It seems that for many, the notion of a move for Embarba would be fairly underwhelming given the club’s 13th-placed finish in 2020/21.
Nah, too old and plays in a division which is equivalent to second half of a the EFL championship in England.

Scored 9 goals in the Spanish second division? No thanks.

This would sound promising if he wasn’t 29.
