Wolves are going to be losing some players this summer – and the future of Rayan Ait-Nouri will no doubt be the subject of speculation.
Several players are out of contract in the summer, such as Nelson Semedo, Pablo Sarabia and Craig Dawson.
Others, like Matheus Cunha, Joao Gomes and Ait-Nouri, could be the subjects of interest from other clubs.
The feeling is that Cunha will likely leave for the value of his release clause.
Then it may be about who follows him out the door – and Rayan Ait-Nouri is a player who’s attracted attention in recent times.
The Algeria international has impressed during his nearly five years at Wolves, and Fosun may feel this summer is the time to cash in.
Manchester United are keen on Ait-Nouri, and the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City have also been linked.
But there’s one claim that’s been made about him that has given Wolves fans a bit of a laugh today.
Wolves fans react as Tottenham Hotspur plot Rayan Ait-Nouri transfer bid

It has been claimed that Tottenham are preparing a bid for Ait-Nouri, with Liverpool and West Ham United also interested.
Apparently, that bid would be worth in the region of €35 million (£29 million).
On social media, Wolves fans have been reacting to this claim.
And it’s safe to say that plenty feel that Ait-Nouri is worth a fair bit more than this and that this apparent bid from Spurs won’t be enough.
@DomDanbury said: “35mil euros is pathetic from Spurs. Wouldn’t expect anything less from Levi.”
@PeteKalhanp added: “😂😂😂€35m😂😂😂”

Wolves must set bar high for Ait-Nouri with sell-on clause lingering
It remains to be seen if Tottenham will come forth this summer with a bid for Ait-Nouri.
On the face of it, £29 million is a low offer.
This summer, Ait-Nouri will only have one year left on his contract at Molineux. However, the club do hold an option to extend that deal by another year, so it’s essentially
But one thing Wolves do need to bear in mind is the fact that Angers hold a 50% sell-on clause, which will be in effect for Ait-Nouri’s next move.
That is a very high clause, but Wolves can apparently buy out Ait-Nouri’s clause for around £9.5 million.
If there is no desire to do that, then Wolves must set Ait-Nouri’s asking price high to compensate for losing half the fee.
It would likely be more worthwhile for Wolves just to pay Angers the money and get it removed.
