It is a huge week for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The club started the summer very positively, but the picture has now really changed at Molineux.
Jorgen Strand Larsen, Rodrigo Gomes and Pedro Lima were three positive additions. But Wolves have been inactive for weeks, and have had a very tough start in the Premier League.
It is two defeats in two games, with Wolves being thrashed 6-2 by Chelsea at the weekend.
Bastien Meupiyou is joining the club, but the feeling is that Wolves need a couple more faces on top of him.
One player who Wolves have expressed interest in in recent days is Burnley winger Lucas Koleosho, with one big claim being made last night.
Burnley turned down £20m bid from Wolves for Luca Koleosho

Wolves are hoping to sign Luca Koleosho from Burnley before Friday’s transfer deadline.
The 19-year-old, who is an Italy youth international, was one of the bright sparks for Burnley last season in what was a poor campaign from the Clarets.
Koleosho was unfortunately limited to just 15 appearances after suffering a knee injury against Wolves in early December.
That put him out for the rest of the season. But Wolves seemingly liked what they saw from the teenager.
According to BBC Sport’s Nick Mashiter on X: “Wolves remain in talks with Arsenal for Aaron Ramsdale while hopes of signing Burnley Luca Koleosho are fading after £20m offer rejected last week.”
There is no word currently on how much Burnley would expect to sell Koleosho – a player described by former Clarets boss Vincent Kompany previously as ‘quick and electric’.
Wolves must prioritise central defender

It is frustrating that £20 million was not enough to sign Koleosho, and now it remains to be seen if Wolves return with an improved bid.
But the club need to ensure that they at least sign one centre-back with experience before the deadline.
What has been evident so far this season is that Wolves don’t have particular problems up top. It is the defence that is a real concern.
Gary O’Neil needs to land an experienced centre-back if he is going to persist with a back four.
