Wolves’ striker hunt continues and now it’s possibly taken them to Stamford Bridge with Armando Broja on the mind.
Molineux looks likely to improve its attacking options this January transfer window as countless different players have been linked.
It comes as Gary O’Neil admitted the club were looking for a striker before he praised Nathan Fraser for his goal.
With that in mind, Wolves have now been linked with another striker in the form of a Chelsea ace who has previously excelled away from his boyhood club.
Here’s everything we know about Wolves’ latest transfer rumour…

Wolves keen on Armando Broja
According to a report from The Guardian, Wolves are now considering a move for Armando Broja whose future is dependent on Chelsea’s incoming this month.
Mauricio Pochettino wants another striker at Stamford Bridge and as is the case with Chelsea, this is likely to end in a big-money move.
This situation would be far from ideal for Broja who is currently trying to make a name for himself at the Blues. Wolves are only considering a move at this stage and would likely want a loan until the summer with an option to buy included.
Wolves are said to be ‘long term’ admirers of Broja, stretching back to 2022. Interestingly, we actually suggested that Broja should be on Wolves’ striker list after it became apparent that he was up for sale.
What kind of a player is Broja?
Broja is as typical a number nine as you can get physically, he’s 6ft 3in along with being quick and strong. He’s a player who has received plaudits throughout his career, with Alan Shearer lauding his impact in 2022.
“Let me tell you, this lad is clinical”, he told Premier League Productions. He then tipped the Albanian as having a bright future in the league.
Chelsea boss Pochettino also praised Broja, more recently, labelling him as one of Europe’s best young strikers.
“The potential is amazing. We’re talking about one of the young strikers in England and in Europe with most potential.”
He did however affirm that the 22-year-old forward needed to work hard in order to reach his boundless potential.
