Wolves will be in the market for new forwards this summer, and the club appear to have eyes on a striker in Serie A.
Vitor Pereira has done a tremendous job since he arrived at Molineux in December, and now fans want to see him backed.
But Fosun operate with a self-sustaining model, so the chances of Wolves splashing ‘serious’ cash are not too high. At least, without them offloading players to offset the spend.

It’s thought Wolves will try to land a new striker this summer, with Jorgen Strand Larsen in need of some back-up.
Fabio Silva is expected to leave Wolves permanently, and Sasa Kalajdzic may head out on loan for 2025/26.
Wolves were linked with Alexander Sorloth on Wednesday, but now there is word of interest in a striker from the Italian top-flight.
Wolves interested in Taty Castellanos
It’s been claimed by La Lazio Siamo Noi that Wolves are one of a few clubs to have taken surveys on striker Taty Castellanos.
Castellanos has enjoyed a great season with Lazio, scoring 14 goals across all competitions so far.
Not content with scoring on a semi-regular basis, he’s also been quite creative, supplying eight assists.
Castellanos has been on the books at Lazio since the summer of 2023, but this season has been his first as a regular starter at the club.
His exploits have now led to interest from a few Premier League clubs. West Ham United and Nottingham Forest are in the mix as well as Wolves.

Furthermore, La Liga clubs Real Betis and Villarreal are also looking at Castellanos ahead of the summer transfer window.
Any move could be difficult to pull off though, with Lazio seeing two-cap Argentina international Castellanos as central to their plans moving forward. They have therefore placed a valuation of around £25-29 million on him.
Castellanos once scored four goals against Real Madrid
Anyone already familiar with Castellanos may be aware that he once did something extremely rare.
Before he joined Lazio, he had a loan stint with Girona from New York City FC.
Girona hosted Real Madrid on April 25, 2023 and little was expected of them against the reigning La Liga champions.
But it would turn out to be an unforgettable day, as Girona won 4-2 – with Castellanos scoring all four goals.
That feat made him the first player in more than 75 years to score four goals in a La Liga game against Real Madrid, after Esteban Echaverria did it for Real Oviedo in 1947.
Remarkably, Castellanos only touched the ball 15 times in the game, and had as many goals as passes attempted (via BBC Sport), underlining what a ruthless performance it was.
