Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa has been headhunted by Saudi Arabian sides with a potential £40m deal touted.
Jose Sa only recently signed a new contract with Wolves but finds himself the subject of tempting interest from Saudi Arabia according to reports.
The Wolves’ shot-stopper has been immense this season and a huge factor in the rapid rise up the table and defensive solidity which has come along with it.
Often lauded with superlatives such as ‘outstanding‘, Sa is a player that fits the profile of the Saudi Pro League, and a player Wolves could see a huge payday from.
After seeing Ruben Neves’ sale during the summer, Wolves likely be open to the idea, given they’ll be aware of the financial benefits of selling to SPL sides.

Jose Sa ‘headhunted’ and a replacement is already being looked for
According to a report by The Sun, Sa is being ‘headhunted’ by Saudi clubs as the latest potential signing from the Premier League.
The report suggests that Sa could command a fee of around £40 million which Wolves would no doubt be interested in discussing considering recent financial constraints.
Wolves are believed to be sure of the departure being a real possibility, with goalkeeping coach Neil Cutler already on the hunt for a new keeper.
Wolves have already been linked to the ideal replacement Guillaume Restes who is a future world-class keeper.
How could Wolves replace Sa?
Back in October, Fabrizio Romano claimed that Wolves ‘wanted to sign Restes. But with a Sa sale, they could be forced to make a move in the goalkeeping market.
Restes is just 18 and already looks the real deal, holding Liverpool to one goal away in France (an own goal was also conceded). However, at his age, inconsistency will be rife which was clear to see in his display at Anfield.
But even the best keepers can concede five at Anfield so we won’t hold it against him. Restes would be a top option, but one which would of course require some level of patience.
