Wolves exit surely on the cards as Fabrizio Romano shares new transfer target

Wolves are starting to get linked to more and more players as the January transfer window edges closer.

Rob Edwards will be in the ear of Fosun after the start he’s had to life at Molineux.

Wolves are yet to win a game since he took charge, and the football on show hasn’t improved dramatically, which has even seen Edwards’ future thrown into doubt.

A meeting has already been held between Edwards and the Wolves hierarchy about signings, so he may still get the chance to prove himself with some of his own additions.

But, with relegation a distinct possibility, there will likely be several big-name exits.

Wolves fans, tell us below which players you think will actually leave the club in January! ❌

Joao Gomes exit surely on the cards?

Crystal Palace have expressed an interest in signing both Joao Gomes and Jorgen Strand Larsen in the upcoming January transfer window.

Matt Hobbs was even spotted at Molineux recently, having moved to a new role at Selhurst Park.

The midfielder hasn’t stated he’s pushing for a move away, but as one of the best players at the club, you can’t help but feel that an offer will come in that may be too hard to turn down.

Other than the summer saga with Strand Larsen, Fosun has never been afraid to cash in on star players, and given the current position, raising funds may be required in order to invest.

David Ornstein has reported Gomes could leave in January due to Wolves not wanting to see his value decrease if relegation is secured.

Niko Sigur can operate at right-back, but the fact that he’s predominantly a defensive midfielder does point towards either Gomes or Andre leaving.
