It’s shaping up to be a Deadline Day to remember for Wolves with several signings still possible.
Going into the final week of the summer transfer window, there was little hope that Gary O’Neil and Matt Hobbs would get the squad up to scratch before Deadline Day.
Instead, the duo are on course to do the exact opposite, with at least two new faces poised to commit their futures to Wolves by the 11pm deadline.
Andre will arrive from Fluminense and an agreement has been reached for Carlos Forbs although, the duo might not be alone at Compton tonight.

Wolves monitoring Trevoh Chalobah situation on Deadline Day
As well as signing the midfielder and the winger, O’Neil could turn his attention to his defence before the deadline.
That’s according to journalist Ben Jacobs, who mentioned Wolves as being one of the ‘multiple clubs’ taking an interest in Trevoh Chalobah.
The Chelsea defender is not in Enzo Maresca’s plans and could leave Stamford Bridge tonight however, a full understanding of his stance is yet to be known.
Jacobs reported:
“Trevoh Chalobah is drawing some late interest from multiple clubs. Wolves aware of his situation, and the door isn’t entirely shut, but they are not working on it as of 16:00.”
The journalist added that Wolves aren’t alone in their admiration of the centre-back, with Newcastle and Crystal Palace also looking at the defender.
Jacobs ended by saying, “Not guaranteed Chalobah leaves, but a late exit not ruled out yet.”
Chelsea’s asking price for Chalobah
25-year-old Chalobah is a product of Chelsea’s academy and has secured 80 senior appearances for his boyhood club in his career.
Despite not being a player wanted by Maresca, the academy graduate is highly rated in West London, with his price tag portraying that.
Earlier in the summer, the Telegraph cited that Chelsea want £25m for Chalobah, which could make a permanent transfer difficult for Wolves but doesn’t rule out a loan.
When playing under Graham Potter in 2022, the defender was described as a ‘soldier’ by his former manager, via Chelsea’s official website, telling of his stature in the back line.
The 25-year-old would be a strong addition for the Old Gold who need a central defender before the deadline, being a player hungry to prove himself after a stagnant few years.
