Wolves could now nab ‘next Bukayo Saka’ from PL giants for free

Wolves are now keen on nabbing an incredibly talented 18-year-old from right under a Premier League giant.

A clear effort is being made by Wolves to strengthen the youth contingent at the club which could be an excellent strategy from the Molineux side.

Noha Lemina is one player who’s believed to be on his way with an initial loan move on the cards. He will join the talented youngsters currently there such as Enso Gonzalez and Nathan Fraser.

But a club can never have too many high-potential players and therefore it seems Wolves have identified another youngster they want to join the club.

This time, it could entail taking an 18-year-old from a Premier League giant in the form of Arsenal, but they’ll face competition.

Wolves keen on Amario Cozier-Duberry

The player Wolves are keen on signing is Arsenal’s talented teenage Amario Cozier-Duberry with Fabrizio Romano providing an update.

He explained on the Daily Briefing on Wednesday that Cozier-Duberry is nearing the end of his contract and therefore is on the radar of several clubs both English and European.

“My understanding is that many clubs are interested – I’d include also Wolves and Anderlecht but really the race is open and nothing is decided yet.”

He went on to admit that Arsenal remain keen on agreeing to a new deal and any move won’t be known until the summer.

He concluded by highlighting it is an ‘interesting’ story to watch over the next few months. Signing Cozier-Duberry would be massive for Wolves as they’d be taking a player from the Gunners who is tipped as the ‘next Bukayo Saka‘.

Who is Cozier-Duberry?

Cozier-Duberry is an 18-year-old right winger who is currently playing for Arsenal’s U21 side in the PL 2. This season he’s made eight appearances with five goals and two assists.

He’s even thrived in the UEFA YL with two goals in four games in that competition. With his contract expiring in June, there’s little surprise at the vast level of interest currently surfacing in him.

He’s an England U19 international with eight caps and three goals from his performances. A player with an extremely bright future, he’d be quite a coup for Wolves.
