Wolves have still only signed one player this summer – and yet another player has been linked with an exit.
Wolves fans are now starting to worry about the season ahead, following a sluggish start to the summer.
Fer Lopez is the only arrival so far, and Wanderers have watched a number of players leave, including Matheus Cunha, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Pablo Sarabia, Craig Dawson, Carlos Forbs, Tommy Doyle and Nasser Djiga.
Nelson Semedo is also now a free agent, although a four-year contract offer remains on the table from Wolves. That said, Wolves feel Semedo is likely to move on.
It was recently suggested that Wolves could sign a new goalkeeper this summer.
A lot of the speculation has been about Sam Johnstone, who is admired by Sunderland.
But now, Wolves might be set to lose Jose Sa.
Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa wanted by Galatasaray

It has been claimed by Alan Nixon via this Patreon that Jose Sa has now emerged as a transfer target for Galatasaray.
He boldly states that they are waiting on a £20 million transfer.
Gala recently missed out on Djordje Petrovic, who has joined Bournemouth.
Sa, of course, has frequently been linked with a move away from Wolves over the past year or so, with a move to Saudi Arabia mooted.
Jose Sa for Wolves (2021-present) |
Appearances – 146 |
Minutes played – 13013 |
Clean sheets – 36 |
Goals conceded – 212 |
It was also recently claimed that Sa was lined up by Chelsea last year.
Gala are now poised to make a bid for Sa, and the decision would then come down to the player.
There is no suggestion of how the player feels about a potential exit this summer. But he has been with Wolves now since the summer of 2021 after arriving on Bruno Lage’s watch. Having seen who has already left the club, may fancy a new challenge himself.
Wolves should sell Sa for £20m
While Sa – who recently became a Nations League winner with Portugal – actually did quite well in the second half of last season, fending off the challenge from Johnstone, Wolves should consider selling at £20 million.
That is quite a big claim from Nixon.
If it’s true that Gala would be willing to bid in the region of £20 million, then Wolves would be selling for around three times what they paid for the player in 2021.
That would be pretty good going for a player at the age of 32.
It will be interesting to see if there are developments on this situation. Vitor Pereira seems to like Sa, so his personal stance will be fascinating.
