The January window is just days away from being open, and Wolves have begun to be linked with players.
Ahead of the window, Jorgen Strand Larsen’s future is up in the air once again. West Ham, Everton and Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in signing the Norwegian.
With relegation looking almost like a certainty, there are no surprises that some players will want to jump ship.
However, the season is far from over, with plenty to play for, and those that do leave will have to be replaced.
Currently at Molineux, there are just two centre-forwards, and it appears Rob Edwards is looking to bring another in.
Whether that is to replace an outgoing player or to add depth to his options still remains unclear, with Edwards maintaining Larsen is staying.
Wolves are now said to be considering a move for a forward who scored 25 goals last season.
Wolves fans, which of these positions do Wolves need to strengthen the most urgently? 🤔 Let us know below!
These positions have been reported in a new article by Sky Sports…
Wolves considering a January move for Sam Surridge

The MLS season is over and is not set to start again until February, but Sam Surridge may not be in America to see it begin.
According to journalist Alex Crook, Wolves are looking into a potential January signing of Nashville’s Surridge, who is one of the names on their transfer shortlist.
The possible signing of Surridge certainly makes sense in multiple ways.
The 27-year-old English striker would satisfy the homegrown quota that limits Wolves’ current transfer plans and means they could boost the numbers in their squad without having to let someone leave.
Would you be happy with the signing of Sam Surridge?
The forward has enjoyed a successful spell in the MLS, most recently scoring 25 goals across the past season. Only Lionel Messi managed to net more.
Throughout his time in America, he has scored 38 goals in 71 Major League Soccer appearances.
Surridge also has experience playing in England’s top flight for Nottingham Forest, having played 20 games for them in the 2022/2023 season but managing just one goal.
He also featured for Bournemouth on six occasions in the Premier League during both 2018/2019 and 2019/2020.
Sam Surridge would be an excellent signing for the impending Championship season
If Wolves are to be relegated, as seems likely, then if Sam Surridge can be convinced about being the Old Gold’s striker in the Championship, it is a good deal to make.
Although the Englishman struggled in England before, he has become a proven goalscorer, which brings confidence.
The MLS is a competitive league and has only become stronger ever since Lionel Messi made the switch to America.
Surridge could also be coming in as a replacement for Hwang Hee-chan, with Wolves open to letting the South Korean leave.
