Wolves are looking to reinforce their midfield during the January transfer window.
Despite a strong start under Vitor Pereira, Wolves are still very much in a relegation battle.
The Old Gold sit one point above the relegation zone and face a series of tough tests throughout January.
Thankfully, the club looks like it is taking early action in the transfer window. Wolves’ signing of Emmanuel Agbadou looks close to help reinforce the defence.
However, on top of a defender, the Old Gold could well need a new midfielder this January.
Wolves eye Colombian international Richard Rios

Mario Lemina has been strongly linked with a move to Saudi Arabia while Boubacar Traore is still recovering from an injury that has kept him out for the majority of the season.
This could leave Wolves with just three fit senior midfielders going into an important month in the battle to avoid the drop.
One player linked to Wolves to fill this void has been Gerson, however, if this deal cannot be done, the Old Gold will look to sign Richard Rios.
According to AS Colombia, Rios is seen as a good alternative to Gerson. The 24-year-old currently plays for Brazilian side Palmeiras and is a Colombian international.
His performances have attracted interest from Premier League sides such as Everton, Fulham and Leicester, with Wolves being the latest to join the race.
However, Palmeiras have no desire to sell the midfielder. It is believed that the Old Gold would have to make an offer they couldn’t refuse for the 24-year-old.
On top of this, Palmeiras also have a €100 million release clause which could also complicate a potential departure.
Wolves’ signings from South America are usually successful

While little is known about Rios in England, one thing Wolves fans can look at is the club’s recent success in the transfer market.
Both Joao Gomes and Andre are regulars in the team while Pedro Lima is expected to step up to first-team duties over the coming seasons.
Therefore, the business Wolves have been conducting in this market is usually reliable which is a good early sign.
Reinforcements in midfield would be good but it is not vital at the moment. However, if the club can identify the right target then they should sign them.
