Wolves are reportedly reluctant to pay the £5 million loan fee that Chelsea are asking for Armando Broja at the moment.
Wanderers are seeking to bring in a new centre-forward on deadline day, and Broja is seemingly the top target again, after a deal for Yuri Alberto collapsed late last night.
Wolves were looking to bring the Corinthians star in on loan, but apparently his agent asked for extra money at the last minute.
Wolves have been back on Broja today, but Chelsea have very high demands over the 22-year-old.
A short time ago, a Sky Sports reporter provided an update on Wolves’ current stance on Broja…
Sky Sports reporter says Wolves ‘certainly won’t’ pay £5m loan fee to sign Armando Broja

Just after 11am, reporter Danyal Khan gave some information on Broja live on Sky Sports News.
There was talk of the fact that Wolves have already seen one straight loan offer rejected for the Albania international.
There was then mention of the £5 million loan fee that Chelsea have set, and on that, Khan said: “There’s now that extra loan fee in the region of £5m attached to any loan deal. From the Wolves side of things, they certainly won’t be doing any sort of loan with that fee attached as we speak.
“That’s because Wolves are very conscious of Profit and Sustainability rules. They’re not going to put anything in jeopardy in terms of that going forward. We saw that happen overnight, with Wolves spilling out of negotiations with Brazilian side Corinthians for a deal for Yuri Alberto.”
Wolves are adopting the right stance, Chelsea could lower demands later
Wolves appear to have zero interest in meeting Chelsea’s current demands, which is the right stance to take.
£5 million to loan in Broja for four months is just absurd.
Chelsea will surely be acutely aware of Wolves’ financial situation and know that the club will not be willing to pay that fee.
If Wolves stand firm, it’s possible that Chelsea could lower their demands later today. It does sound as though they are keen to offload Broja and if no one else comes in for the player in the coming hours, then it may be that they slash their asking price.
