Wolves are leading the race to sign Amine Adli from Bayer Leverkusen, sources close to Molineux News understand.
It’s understood that Wolves are battling West Ham to sign Adli this summer, as the 25-year-old considers the next step of his career.
Bayer Leverkusen want £26m to release Adli, who made 20 Bundesliga appearances last season under Xabi Alonso.
The versatile forward is capable of playing in a range of attacking positions, including the left side, attacking midfield and even as a centre-forward.

Real possibility that Wolves sign Amine Adli
Wolves fans are sold on Adli, who could replenish the spark in Vitor Pereira’s starting XI after the exits of Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri.
The forward already has huge experience, having risen through the ranks at Bayer Leverkusen following his 2021 transfer from Toulouse.
With 15 caps for Morocco under his belt, Wolves see the positives of possibly striking a deal for Adli, so much so that the Old Gold are now leading the race.
That’s the understanding of Molineux News’ transfer expert Graeme Bailey, who has heard there’s a ‘real possibility’ that Wolves will get the deal done.
“They’re in talks with him; they do like him an awful lot,” Bailey said.
“West Ham are linked, but I’m told Wolves are leading the queue for him. From what I’m told, there’s a real possibility.”
Bailey confirmed that Domenico Teti is ‘working on’ bringing the 25-year-old to Molineux, in what would be a huge boost on the transfer front.

Adli’s record at Bayer Leverkusen
It’s no surprise that Wolves are charmed by Adli, who played a strong role in Leverkusen’s unbeaten season of 2023/24.
Since joining the German side in 2021, the Moroccan has made 142 appearances, contributing to 47 goals in that time.
The rapid forward, who can be deployed in most areas of the front line, would bring a new lease of life to Pereira’s attack, particularly after the loss of Cunha’s power and Pablo Sarabia’s creativity.
West Ham are in the race, but Wolves are pulling ahead, with all eyes on whether a deal can be struck.
