Wolves are now expecting to sign £30,000-a-week player on deadline day

Wolves are reportedly now ‘expecting’ to sign striker Che Adams from Southampton today.

Wanderers are in for a busy day today on transfer deadline day.

Two new players arrived yesterday in the form of Santiago Bueno and Enso Gonzalez.

And today, we will see Tommy Doyle complete his loan move from Manchester City.

Harrison Reed may also arrive from Fulham.

Other targets include Strasbourg duo Habib Diarra and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde.

Those two and Reed feel touch and go and the moment, but it looks like the club are feeling a bit more confident about landing Adams…

The two clubs have been in talks.

Last night, it was suggested by journalist Alex Crook that Wolves were trying to get a deal in place.

It is thought that a loan move for £30,000-a-week star Adams is being discussed, with the Saints keen to extend his contract in order to protect his value.

At the moment, Wolves have two out-and-out strikers in Fabio Silva and Sasa Kalajdzic. Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-chan are also options to play through the middle.
