Wolves are starting to make some moves now in the transfer window – and apparently, the club have just entered the race to sign another Brazilian.
The first few weeks of June have entailed people leaving Molineux.
Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri have both been sold, and Pablo Sarabia, Craig Dawson and Carlos Forbs are also confirmed to be leaving.

But Wolves are set to sign Fer Lopez from Celta Vigo, and the Spaniard could be announced later this week.
It’s also been suggested Wolves have made a first offer for Evann Guessand.
Now, it has been claimed that Wolves have joined the race to sign a Brazilian striker.
Wolves interested in Romulo Cardoso

It has been reported by reliable Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte that Wolves have entered the race to sign Romulo Cardoso, who plays for Turkish club Göztepe.
Romulo joined Göztepe in January on a permanent basis, after being on loan with them from Athletico Paranaense since February 2024.
He scored 17 goals and made 10 assists in 33 appearances across all competitions in 2024/25.
But, as ever, Wolves are not the only team keen.
In fact, there is also interest from Nottingham Forest, who are of course managed by former Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo.
Both sides have been in contact with Göztepe over the player to try and learn the conditions for a deal.
But RB Leipzig appear to have the most advanced interest, and the German club are suggested as the preference.
They are willing to spend around £10 million to sign him.

Wolves’ Brazilian contingent could be crucial factor in Romulo race
Wolves could well land Romulo ahead of the competition thanks to their growing Brazilian contingent at Molineux.
Obviously Matheus Cunha has just left the club. But there is still Joao Gomes, Andre and Pedro Lima, and plenty of Portuguese speakers.
A move for Romulo could potentially be exciting.

Turkiye Today released some information on Romulo in April of this year, detailing things to know about him.
They said he ‘he demonstrates a maturity and tactical awareness that set him apart’ and ‘poses a constant threat to opposing defences combining physical strength with agility’.
He is also described as ‘a complete attacking player’ who is both a scorer and a playmaker.
