Wolves fans want a positive January transfer window, and it seems we could be seeing some movement very soon.
The need for a new central defender is crystal clear following the first half of the 2024/25 season, with Wolves currently the Premier League team to have conceded the most goals.
Vitor Pereira has come in and shored Wolves up up a bit defensively.
But the new manager knows he needs reinforcements this month. And it was reported Wolves will look to hand Pereira two new defensive recruits.
One of those will seemingly be Emmanuel Agbadou, with Wolves and Reims reportedly agreeing a fee.
Reims’ president Jean-Pierre Caillot has also said there’s an agreement over Agbadou.
But it seems Wolves won’t stop there.
Wolves set to move for another centre-back after Agbadou as two targets offered

It has been reported by French journalist Loic Tanzi that Wolves could now go after another centre-back, and he offers two potential names.
One is Kevin Danso, who has reportedly turned Wolves down.
And the other is Abdukodir Khusanov, Danso’s highly rated Lens teammate.
Tanzi writes on X: “After Agbadou, Wolverhampton will once again look for a central defender on the market. Back to the charge for Danso or Khusanov (exclusive mandate to sell Mendes)?”
Khusanov was first linked with Wolves in December, with agent Jorge Mendes having been in contact with Wolves, Newcastle, PSG, Napoli and Real Madrid over a potential move for the Uzbekistan international.
Two centre-backs is just what Wolves need
If Wolves can get either Danso or Khusanov in addition to Agbadou, then that would be huge for Wolves.
As we know, the second half of the season is tough.
Wolves picked up a number of untimely injuries last term, and currently don’t have too many centre-back options.

Yerson Mosquera is out for the season of course, and Toti Gomes currently has a hamstring injury. And there are question marks over Craig Dawson’s ability to play every game.
So getting two new centre-backs in would be excellent.
Agbadou now seems like only a matter of time. But hopefully, Matt Hobbs can follow the Ivorian up with another solid option to help Pereira thrive.
