Wolves reportedly have absolutely no intention of letting Rayan Ait-Nouri leave the club in January, amid mounting interest in the star.
So far this season, the Algeria international – who joined the club for £10 million – has featured heavily under Gary O’Neil.
He has played in every game so far, and at the moment he is O’Neil’s first choice to play on the left side for Wolves.
Ait-Nouri‘s form has been really good, and he’s arguably looked even better since the manager changed the formation and brought Toti Gomes into the starting XI.
Toti has been operating on the left of a back three for Wolves and moves out to become a left-back when Wolves are in possession with Ait-Nouri pushing higher. This is something that gets the best out of the 22-year-old, who is naturally attack-minded.
Perhaps inevitably, there are eyes on Ait-Nouri with the January transfer window getting nearer – but one publication is claiming Wolves fans need not worry too much…
Wolves fully intend to keep Rayan Ait-Nouri

Le10 Sport have produced a report about Ait-Nouri following his fantastic start to the new season.
It is suggested that Ait-Nouri’s great performances for Wolves have made him a wanted man, with Liverpool showing some interest ahead of January.
But according to them, Wolves simply have no intention of letting him leave in January.
Ait-Nouri is apparently the subject of ‘regular’ and ‘insistent’ contact, but for Wolves the plan is very clear; the youngster is to be kept at Molineux, regardless of any offers that may come in.
As well as Liverpool there is also some interest from Nice – who have reportedly been tracking him for a while now – and Marseille.
Wolves cannot lose Ait-Nouri
Just as Wolves can’t lose Pedro Neto, amid interest from Arsenal, the club simply cannot and must not offload Ait-Nouri in January.
Thankfully from this report, Wolves’ stance does seem quite firm.
£10,000-a-week star Ait-Nouri has been absolutely excellent so far this term, having been out in the cold last season under Julen Lopetegui. He deserves a lot of credit for turning things around, and he now looks like a young player with serious potential again.
His all-action performance against Tottenham Hotspur was brilliant to watch, and totally in keeping with how he has performed so far this campaign.
Since O’Neil brought Toti into the starting XI, Ait-Nouri has been fantastic. He recently admitted that he prefers playing as a wing-back as it taps into his natural attacking style more, and hopefully he continues to thrive operating a bit further forward.
