Wolves have made their mind up regarding the future of former captain Mario Lemina, sources close to Molineux News understand.
Since Vitor Pereira’s arrival, Lemina has played only 31 minutes, missing the opening three games of the new manager’s era due to a knock.
There could be more to the story, however, as whilst the midfielder was away from the action, transfer links appeared.
It’s claimed that Lemina is open to a transfer this month, with Saudi Pro League club Al-Shabab among those interested in the 31-year-old.

Wolves ready to let Mario Lemina leave in January transfer window
While Pereira does not want to sell players this month, the Wolves manager could see Lemina depart promptly amid speculation.
Some Wolves fans think Lemina should be sold this winter as his current contract runs until the summer, with the option of a further year.
Al-Shabab’s interest is there, giving Wolves the option to sell if they desire to, which just might be the case.
Sources close to Molineux News shared insight into how Wolves feel about letting Lemina leave, with the understanding that both player and club believe the time is right to part ways.
Several clubs in Saudi Arabia are eyeing the Gabon international, who is said to want to leave Wolves.
The club share a similar stance following Lemina’s bust-up against West Ham, resulting in the midfielder being stripped of captaincy.
Both the player and Wolves are happy to part ways this winter, with his actions at full-time at the London Stadium understood to be a turning point in the player’s Molineux career.
Wolves could sign a midfielder to replace Lemina
One area that Pereira has some room to play with is in midfield, with Andre and Joao Gomes the manager’s preferred duo in central areas.
Tommy Doyle was called on to start amid Andre’s unavailability, with Lemina left on the bench before being introduced as a substitute.
If his cameo against Forest was the midfielder’s final action in the Old Gold, it could be that Wolves scan the market for another set of legs to bolster the squad.
Palmeiras star Richard Rios has been linked to Wolves, being one of several options Pereira could consider.
