Wolves managed to bring in two new signings on transfer deadline day, and there could now be repercussions for one star at Molineux.
It was a late one for Wolves, who announced the arrivals of Nasser Djiga and Marshall Munetsi after the 11pm deadline.
It went to the wire, but Wolves signed the players on time and then confirmed the news via their social channels.
It was a good end to the window, with Vitor Pereira getting players in the two positions he wanted the most.
But what did on transfer deadline day could now result in a frustrating blow for one player at Wolves, and it relates to the upcoming Premier League squad submission.
Sasa Kalajdzic may not be registered in Wolves’ updated Premier League squad

As a result of the two deals Wolves did yesterday, there is now some jeopardy for Sasa Kalajdzic.
Wolves will soon have to submit their updated squad to the Premier League.
Wolves brought in three non-homegrown players in January and will all be registered. But slots need freeing up for Djiga and Munetsi.
Nathan Judah took to X last night to suggest that £15m man (BBC Sport) Sasa Kalajdzic might be the unlucky player to not be registered.
He said: “In terms of the #wwfc squad list that will need to be sent next week for non-homegrown Agbadou, Djiga & Munetsi would replace Mosquera, Lemina & prob Sasa Kalajdzic as the unlucky 3rd player.”
Liam Keen also commented on the squad situation yesterday, saying (via E&S): “As it stands right now, in the safe assumption that Agbadou will take Yerson Mosquera’s place with his season-ending injury, Wolves currently have no more spaces available for non-homegrown players.
“With these two (Djiga and Munetsi) coming in, Wolves will have to make two spaces available.”
Keen then suggested Kalajdzic could miss out on registration. Mario Lemina is set to join Galatasaray, so that move will free up the other non-homegrown player slot.
Kalajdzic may get loan move
It will be interesting to see what happens with Kalajdzic, who’s been working his way back from an ACL injury.
Kalajdzic has been back on the grass at Compton for a while now, but it’s unclear if he’s joined back up with his teammates yet.
Gary O’Neil said in November that Kalajdzic was set to return to the group in a few weeks, so he cannot be far off.
But seemingly, his place in the squad could now be at risk given Wolves’ deadline day activity.
Therefore, Wolves may seek to organise another loan move for Kalajdzic so he’s not kicking his heels for the coming months.
The Turkish transfer window is open until February 11, which may represent an opportunity.
