Wolves look to be well on course to make their first signing of the summer soon in the form of Fer Lopez.
Having already sold two big players, fans have been hopeful that there will now be some incomings at Molineux.
Pablo Sarabia, Craig Dawson and Carlos Forbs have all left too, and Nelson Semedo could yet follow them out the door.
But it now looks as though Wolves will soon be signing their first player of the summer.
Fer Lopez of Celta Vigo is that player, with Wolves agreeing personal terms with him yesterday.
It was also claimed that Wolves would be able to sign Lopez for around £17 million, which is the value of his release clause since he is still registered as a youth player.
Now, there has been a further update on Wolves’ pursuit of Lopez.
Wolves trying to pay for Celta Vigo star Fer Lopez in installments

It is now seemingly just about Wolves and Celta striking an agreement over Lopez.
Wolves could trigger his release clause and sign him for around £17 million.
But according to a new report from AS, the two clubs are actually in discussions about Wolves paying for the player in installments.
This would actually see Wolves pay more than that £17 million fee, and hand Celta around £17-21 million in total.
This is similar to what Wolves did when selling Matheus Cunha to Manchester United.
United are paying Wolves in three installments for Cunha, and Wanderers will actually receive slightly more than the £62.5 million release clause when all is said and done.
Lopez move looks promising for Wolves
Wolves’ proposed move for Lopez is starting to feel quite promising.
The report from AS states that Lopez’s exit from Celta is ‘imminent’, so an agreement over the fee and pay structure must be quite close.
And of course, personal terms are said to be already agreed.
So hopefully, Wolves can get this one tied up pretty quickly and announce him as a new player to fans at some point next week.
It’d be a positive move. A former coach of Lopez has hailed his dribbling ability, and that would be most welcome with Cunha having recently left.
