What Wolves are aiming to do with Fabio Silva with whopping nine clubs currently eyeing transfer

Wolves fans are likely to finally see Fabio Silva leave the club permanently this summer.

The striker has been with Wolves since the summer of 2020, when he joined from FC Porto for an eyebrow-raising £35.6 million.

But that move has not worked out, and for the last couple of years, Silva has been playing out on loan.

Currently, he’s on his fourth loan stint – and it’s been going very well.

For Las Palmas this season, he’s scored 10 goals and made three assists – and those numbers have alerted quite a few clubs ahead of the summer.

And that will delight Molineux officials, who will be looking to recoup as much of that initial payment as possible.

After it was claimed Silva will leave Wolves permanently this summer, there has now been an update regarding what Wolves specifically want to happen.

It’s been claimed by TEAMtalk that Wolves are very keen to get Silva out of Molineux relatively early this summer.

The club are fully aware that there are many suitors, with TEAMtalk suggested there are actually as many as nine clubs in the frame right now.

They are:

Wolves are looking to capitalise on the interest, and want to sell the player early so they can then get on with shaping their squad for 2025/26.

The asking price Wolves have set for Silva is around £17-21 million, according to the publication, with Wolves said to be confident of selling the player for fee in that range.

Some fans had wondered if Silva could get a reprieve at Molineux under Vitor Pereira, who has overseen a stunning turnaround at the club and improved so many players.

But seemingly, the player has no desire to stick around. Famously, Silva suggested he never even really wanted to join Wolves in the first place, but was essentially forced given how much money was involved.

Wolves in a strong position over Silva

That there are so many clubs eyeing Silva already is really good news for Wolves.

After his underwhelming spell at Rangers, it looked as though Wolves were on course to make a heavy loss on Silva.

Wolves will still make a loss on the player this summer. But his efforts at Las Palmas will mean that Wolves won’t make as much of a loss now.

It’s a move that has really worked out, and put him in the shop window.

If Wolves can bring in £20 million for Silva then Molineux officials would surely take that, considering the player does want to move on and has a contract until 2026 (with a year option).
