Wolves are braced for change this winter as Vitor Pereira aims to bolster his squad in the transfer window.
Like several Premier League clubs, Wolves have got to work fast in the January transfer window, with one signing already on the cards.
Emmanuel Agbadou will join Wolves this month after the Old Gold’s bid was accepted by Reims, as their club president confirmed.
Wolves could sign another defender after Agbadou, as things heat up in the winter market for Pereira and his team.

Vitor Pereira shares Wolves transfer plan
As well as Agbadou, the Old Gold could recruit a new attacker, with Turkish reports linking Hakim Ziyech to Wolves.
While all eyes are on possible arrivals, there is also speculation growing regarding departures, with Mario Lemina and Sam Johnstone linked to exits.
Lemina wants to join Al-Shabab this winter, Pereira’s former club, in what has been a whirlwind start to the season for the midfielder.
Talk of Johnstone’s possible Wolves exit also comes as a surprise, but in Pereira’s eyes, the Old Gold should be retaining talent rather than offloading this winter.
“We have a small squad and we don’t have a lot of solutions for each position,” Pereira said in response to rumours of Johnstone’s future, via Express and Star.
“It means that we need to keep the players and bring one or two players to help us. We need to bring different solutions, but not start sending players out.”
Pereira’s admission is interesting given the strong talks of Lemina leaving Molineux this month, with the Wolves manager eager to keep his squad together.
“We need to have balance. I know when the market is open every team has happy players and some players that want to play more. We understand but in this moment we need to think about the team and ourselves, and we need everyone.”
Mario Lemina’s future remains in doubt
At the start of the 2024/25 calendar, the prospect of Lemina leaving in January would have been classed as comical however, things change quickly in football.
Things haven’t been the same for the player since Lemina was stripped of captaincy after a bust-up at the London Stadium.
Now, it appears that the midfielder could leave, despite Pereira saying Lemina is in his plans for the season.
Lemina isn’t short of admirers, with several clubs said to be eyeing the 31-year-old, whose future remains in doubt despite Pereira’s desire.
