What Rayan Ait-Nouri has just said will delight Wolves fans amid transfer speculation

This summer, several players will be leaving Wolves.

It remains to be seen what division Wolves will be in, but regardless, several stars are either out of contract, or transfer targets for other clubs.

Nelson Semedo is likely to leave Wolves, with his deal expiring.

Matheus Cunha has a £62.5 million release clause that someone will surely trigger.

And it’s also been claimed today that Pablo Sarabia is also likely to be moving on this summer with his contract expiring too.

But then there are players such as Joao Gomes, who is thought to be on the radars of some top clubs.

In recent times, Rayan Ait-Nouri has also attracted attention from the likes of Manchester United and others.

But the Algerian has done a new interview and made some comments that Wolves fans will appreciate.

Rayan Ait-Nouri has had a very interesting season in 2024/25.

The 23-year-old has had some really poor performances from a defensive standpoint, such as the two games he played against Chelsea in the Premier League.

But Ait-Nouri has excelled once again in terms of his offensive prowess, providing four goals and five assists in 26 appearances.

Those numbers are bound to have clubs looking at him, but some new quotes from Ait-Nouri have been published today – and they make for encouraging reading.

He told The National: “I am confident that we can stay up.

“Every moment is an experience for me here and I just love being here.”

Ait-Nouri also stated in the interview that he likes England, and loves the support he gets from the Wolves fans, saying ‘the people feel like a family’.

Ait-Nouri hails ‘special’ Matheus Cunha

These comments from Ait-Nouri are certainly encouraging.

He’s a player who will surely have a lot of interest this summer, but clearly he does very much enjoy his current environment.

Ait-Nouri also had a word to say about Cunha, who recently signed a new contract at Molineux.

He has enjoyed another fantastic season for Wolves and is set to play a big part in Wolves’ fight against relegation – and his quality isn’t lost on Ait-Nouri.

He said: “We have good players like [Brazilian forward] Matheus Cunha, I really enjoy playing with him. He loves this team and we are happy for him to be with us.

“He is a good colleague, a special talent and a very good player. We know the Premier League is very hard. Very hard. But we are Wolves and we will fight until the end.”
