Jhon Arias only joined Wolves a few months ago, but there has surprisingly been some early transfer speculation about the Colombian.
Jhon Arias was Wolves’ second signing of the summer, arriving at Molineux in a deal worth around £19 million.
Arias had shone for Fluminense for several years, and Vitor Pereira was a big driver of the deal having seen him playing up close in Brazil.
So far, it has been a fairly average start for Arias in old gold.
But that was perhaps to be expected, since he has already played so much football in 2025 with the Brazilian top-flight running from March to December.
Against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend though Arias shone, and there is optimism that he can now kick on.
But that has not stopped there being speculation about his future.
Jhon Arias focused on improving at Wolves as Flamengo transfer claim made

Media publications in Colombia and Brazil have been keeping a close eye on Arias since his move to Wolves from Fluminense.
He was a top performer for Fluminense for a long time, and it was widely accepted that Wolves had snagged themselves a top player.
It hasn’t quite happened for him yet at Molineux, and that has led to some surprising suggestions of an early exit.
Recently it was claimed that Flamengo were monitoring Arias amid his lukewarm start for Wolves.
It was then suggested by journalist Fabrício Lopes (via Bolavip) that Flamengo could offer Arias the same wages he is getting at Wolves if he was ready to agitate for an exit, with manager Filipe Luis a fan of his.
But Somos Fanaticos suggest that Arias’ priority is to stay in Europe. He is said to believe he can still turn things around at Wolves and shine in the Premier League.

Arias is going nowhere soon
The noise coming from South America recently around Arias has been peculiar.
It is extremely common for players to not immediately hit the ground running at new clubs.
There has been no suggestion that Arias is unhappy with the move he has made or that he wants to make an early exit.
There is next to no chance that he will be leaving this season, given Pereira was very involved in bringing him to the club after watching him up close in Brazil.
Arias has insisted the best is still to come from him at Wolves, and fans were certainly left very encouraged by his display against Spurs.
