What Jhon Arias’ entourage have said regarding a potential early exit from Wolves

A new claim has been made regarding the immediate future of Wolves attacker Jhon Arias.

Jhon Arias has been in the news a fair bit over the international break, with reports of interest in the player from a number of clubs.

Earlier this week, it was suggested that Turkish giants Galatasaray were interested in Arias.

There have also been claims that Flamengo and Palmeiras are keen to bring Arias back to Brazil following his poor start with Wolves.

But now, a new claim has been made about Arias with the January window creeping ever closer.

Flamengo reportedly feel as though Arias is unlikely to flourish in England due to the situation Wolves find themselves in.

They’re considering a move, but one journalist has now delivered a fairly emphatic update on Arias.

Julian Capera, who boasts a fairly sizeable following of 176,000 people on X, has been speaking about the Wolves ace on his YouTube channel, which has nearly 50,000 subscribers.

He states that Arias will not be leaving Wolves in January and that the player’s entourage have intimated they aren’t going to let him leave for a lower fee than what he was bought for. Capera adds Arias is set to remain at the club until ‘at least’ the summer of 2026.

He says the chances of a return to Brazil, or a move to Turkey, for Arias are ‘really slim’.

Capera does say though that relegation for Wolves would change the picture.

Galatasaray’s interest in Arias is ‘real’

Capera also talks about the speculation linking Arias with a move Galatasaray.

He says that interest is ‘real’, and that Gala have even asked their defender Davinson Sanchez to talk to Arias, with the pair teammates in the Colombia national team.

But Gala may not have any chance to make a January move given the stance of Wolves and Arias’ entourage.

Ultimately, a lot of money was paid for Arias and seemingly the club are not about to sanction an exit for him at the first opportunity just because he hasn’t started well.

The club will hope that the appointment of Rob Edwards will be a catalyst for Arias to improve.
