West Brom want to sign Wolves player late on deadline day

Wolves fans are not expecting any more signings at Molineux, but there are players still looking to leave.

There is not much time left for deals to be completed. However, that is not stopping clubs from attempting to get them done.

Wolves signed Tolu Arokodare on deadline day, and unfortunately, that is where the business for incomings ended.

However, Liam Keen reported a loan for two players was being worked on earlier on in the day, and now a potential destination for one of those has been revealed, and Wolves fans will not like who is in the race.

Sasa Kalajdzic’s minutes at Wolves will be limited this season. The Austrian is likely fourth in the pecking order behind Jorgen Strand Larsen, Tolu Arokodare and Hwang Hee-chan.

It has been a tough time for the forward at Wolves, picking up two serious knee injuries while contracted at the club.

A move away was always likely after securing another attacker, and now TalkSPORT reporter Alex Crook has confirmed that West Brom are looking at signing the striker on loan.

The Baggies have started the season strong picking up 10 points from a possible 12, and are hoping to secure promotion back to the Premier League.

Adding the striker would add more legs, goals, and bodies to their squad as they attempt to achieve this feat.

West Brom are Wolves’ biggest rivals, so if a deal was to be agreed, the reaction from fans would not be positive.

Wolves fans will not be happy with Sasa Kaladjzic joining West Brom

This potential deal would certainly be unpopular with supporters.

Wolves are set to be fighting relegation, meanwhile the Baggies are looking to be promoted.

The most recent clash in the FA Cup last season highlighted the fiery feelings between supporters, when the home side was fined after crowd trouble.

The thought of Kaladjzic helping them move up to England’s top-flight, while Wolves go down to the Championship, is one that any Old Gold fan will hate.

In reality, if this move comes to fruition, it would be the nail in the coffin for what has been a terrible transfer window for Wolves.
