Although Wolves’ focus is primarily on securing Premier League survival, attention has already shifted to the summer transfer window.
Wolves were the second-highest spenders in January and are preparing for another busy, and important, summer transfer window.
Matheus Cunha is expected to depart, leaving Vitor Pereira with a void he must fill before the start of next season, and according to recent reports, the club have already identified their first target.

Wolves linked with surprise Jadon Sancho transfer
Wolves may not be as prestigious as some of England’s top clubs, but Pereira is certainly heading up an exciting project.
Cunha’s expected exit is a problem though. Should the Brazilian move on, and Rayan Ait-Nouri continue to attract interest, Wolves will have the funds available to sign a high-profile replacement.
And according to FootballTransfers‘ Steve Kay, sporting director Matt Hobbs‘ top target, as things stand, is winger Jadon Sancho.
Despite breaking through at Borussia Dortmund and being one of Europe’s most exciting forwards, As Sofascore’s data shows, Sancho has struggled to live up to expectations in the notoriously fast-paced and physical Premier League.

Frozen out by Ruben Amorim at Manchester United, the Englishman, currently on loan with Chelsea, is continuing to underperform leading to his long-term future being uncertain.
There is a clause in Sancho’s loan deal which would allow Chelsea to pay a sum, roughly £5 million, to void their option to buy.
Although the Red Devils would prefer Sancho didn’t return to Old Trafford, it seems the Blues are considering triggering the clause, and that would make him a much more attainable option.
Not worth the risk
Regardless of how tempting it may be to poach a player from Chelsea or Manchester United, Wolves should avoid pursuing Sancho.
The Old Gold’s style of play has improved since Pereira replaced Gary O’Neil. The team look to be understanding each other a lot better with genuine hope of a much better season next time around brewing.
Sancho’s possible inclusion, and guaranteed high wages, risk unsettling the harmonious and well-balanced environment Pereira has worked so hard to create.
Suggestions the winger could use Molineux as a platform to get his career back on track do a massive disservice to the direction the Old Gold are trying to move in.
Under no circumstances should Wolves consider Sancho as a possible replacement for Cunha.
