Vitor Pereira has a huge task on his hands to keep Wolves in the Premier League.
It’s been a solid start to life at Wolves for Pereira but in the past two league games, the Old Gold have been exploited by superior opposition.
Newcastle handed Wolves a 3-0 defeat on Wednesday night, which saw them drop back into the relegation zone.
Hwang Hee-chan was blasted for his performance in the loss while perhaps more alarmingly, Pereira revealed after the game that Mario Lemina refused to play, with the 31-year-old pushing for a transfer out of Molineux.
While there is no way back for Lemina at Wolves following his latest actions, there is still plenty of work to be done in the transfer window.

Vitor Pereira wants Wolves to sign two more players
The start of the transfer window has been a slow burner for most clubs but Wolves did make Emmanuel Agbadou their first signing.
The Ivorian centre-back was thrown straight into the starting lineup against Bristol City before Agbadou produced a nervy display against Newcastle, which was to be expected on his Premier League debut.
Agbadou looks set to offer Pereira strong competition in defence however, it’s become evident that Wolves need more in that position and others to turn the tide.
Speaking after defeat to the Magpies, the 56-year-old outlined his plans for the rest of the transfer window, claiming he wants to sign two more players.
“In my opinion, we need two more players,” Pereira said via the E&S. “Let’s see if it’s possible, I will try my best.”
One of those looks certain to be a midfield replacement for Lemina while the other is sure to be a centre-back, but it remains to be seen whether that is enough to keep the Old Gold up.
Wolves could sign Brighton’s Adam Webster
As evinced during the defeats to Forest and Newcastle, both by a 3-0 scoreline, Wolves were torn apart far too easily.
This is largely down to their midfield two being overrun but also the lack of mobility in defence during transition.
The signing of Agbadou should help somewhat once he’s settled in properly however, Pereira could target someone with Premier League experience.
Molineux News revealed on Tuesday that Brighton’s Adam Webster is still on Wolves’ radar, the 30-year-old centre-back who has played just 104 top-flight minutes this term.

Webster is highly rated by Jamie Carragher, who once labelled him as the best English ball-playing centre-back, evincing his qualities in possession.
Indeed, the man who has appeared 128 times in the Premier League could be a player they try to sign this month, with the Seagulls star guaranteed to offer classy performances in defence.
