Transfer deadline day always throws up some ridiculous stories – and one has come early today regarding a Wolves player.
Gary O’Neil is trying to shape his squad now.
Matheus Nunes is leaving for Manchester City, which will be confirmed later today.
Regarding outgoings today, Daniel Podence is the only other player looking likely to go.
Wolves are not really looking to make sales of any ‘key’ players on the last day of the window.
But that has not stopped one publication from making an extremely bold claim this morning…
AC Milan eye Sasa Kalajdzic
According to Italian publication TMW, AC Milan are looking to make a last-ditch swoop for Wolves striker Sasa Kalajdzic.

The Rossoneri have missed out on Mehdi Taremi, and are looking at alternative options.
They need an alternative to Olivier Giroud.
TMW are saying that Milan have made an approach for Austria international Kalajdzic.
But they state that Wolves do not want to sell.
Kalajdzic going nowhere
There is not a chance this will happen.
Who knows where TMW have got this information from. But if Milan do actually have interest in Kalajdzic, then they can absolutely forget about it.
Kalajdzic has just recovered from an ACL injury, and is looking to ease back into the game.

He is not about to leave Wolves on deadline day, having played just four games for the club since signing last year.
The Wolves board has made some foolish decisions in recent times, but they surely aren’t about to sanction Kalajdzic’s exit.
