Wolves lost a number of players in the summer transfer window – and Hugo Bueno was apparently the subject of an offer from RB Leipzig.
It has been all change at Molineux over the past couple of months.
High profile players like Ruben Neves, Nathan Collins, Joao Moutinho, Adama Traore and Raul Jimenez all left.
Wolves were able to make six new additions in the end.
And it’s now going to be fascinating to see how the club gets on this term.
Today, there has been a claim about some more Wolves players who received interest from other clubs – and one of those was Bueno.
RB Leipzig made offer to sign Wolves defender Hugo Bueno
The Telegraph have published an interesting report today about Wolves’ summer.

They claim that an offer did actually go in from RB Leipzig – who are in this season’s Champions League – for Bueno.
That is all the information that is offered.
It is not clear if it was a transfer bid or a loan offer.
It is also stated that Wolves’ other left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri was the subject of interest from Nice.
Seemingly though, Bueno was never a player Wolves wanted or intended to leave this summer.
A relief Bueno wasn’t offloaded
It is a relief that Wolves did not sell or loan Bueno.
Last season he was something of a shining light for Wanderers, after making his first-team debut back in October.
He came into the side and put in a string of great performances and has been playing fairly regularly ever since.

He has the potential to become a top full-back. Julen Lopetegui said earlier this year that he felt Bueno could really become a top player in the coming years, branding him ‘very professional’ in his approach to the game.
It is no surprise that Leipzig came in with a bid for the exciting young talent. What is surprising, is that more clubs didn’t test Wolves’ resolve.
Thankfully, Bueno is still a Wanderers player.
