Italian club Torino could be set to sign a player Wolves have long been interested in.
Wolves are now preparing for the 2024/25 season and are currently out in Marbella at a training camp for pre-season.
It has been a gruelling past week or so in the high temperatures, and tonight Wolves will play a game against Como.
The manager will be taking a look at everyone in match action and have a particularly close eye on the three new faces Pedro Lima, Rodrigo Gomes and Jorgen Strand Larsen. He’ll also be keen to watch returning loanees like Yerson Mosquera and Chiquinho.
Strand Larsen is a signing a lot of Wolves fans are really excited about.
But despite him coming in, speculation refuses to disappear about Che Adams – and there is another report about Wolves’ interest in the Scot.
Wolves could lose out on Che Adams to Torino

It has been reported by The Sun that Che Adams remains of interest to Wolves, but the club could now be set to miss out on him.
Apparently, Torino are showing an interest in the star and could be tempted to join.
Adams is now a free agent following the expiry of his Southampton contract. The Saints have been keen to extend his deal, but Adams may seek pastures new.
He’s had interest from Wolves for a long time, and also some interest from Saudi Arabia recently.
Wolves did sign Strand Larsen recently and there was a suggestion that the club wouldn’t seek to sign another striker, as they had belief that Matheus Cunha could improve on the season he’s just had.
But The Sun say Wolves are long-term admirers of the player, who got 23 goal involvements last season (17 goals and six assists).
Last summer, the club reportedly made an £18 million bid for Adams, but Southampton turned it down. There was then some more interest in the player in January, but the Saints were never going to let him go mid-season as they were pushing for promotion.
Having Adams wouldn’t hurt
So Torino are in for Adams and seemingly, there is still some interest from Wolves – who were reported last week to feel as though they wouldn’t get the 28-year-old.
We will see which way it goes, but it wouldn’t hurt to have someone like Adams in the squad.
Ultimately, Strand Larsen is set to be the starting striker for Wolves, and then there is only Cunha and Hwang Hee-chan who can fill in. As good as they both were last season, neither are natural, out-and-out number nines.
With Fabio Silva set to leave and Sasa Kalajdzic out injured until later in the year, it would perhaps just be sensible for Wolves to bring in Adams, especially with him being a free-agent.
Having that extra cover could really help keep the squad a bit fresher.
