It is huge news that Gomes has committed his future to Wolves and the significant thing is that there is no release clause in the new deal, unlike the one for Matheus Cunha.
That puts Wolves in an extremely strong position.
If Wolves are going to lose Gomes now this summer, which is highly unlikely, then the club are free to demand absolutely insane money.
Some poor decisions have been made at Molineux but he higher-ups over the past few years.
