Wolves are in the market for new attacking players, with Evann Guessand of Nice having been linked.
Vitor Pereira needs reinforcements for the forward positions, with Matheus Cunha and Pablo Sarabia having already left.
Hwang Hee-chan has failed to rule out leaving Wolves, while Goncalo Guedes has been linked with Flamengo.
Fer Lopez will sign for Wolves though, having completed his medical on Wednesday.
Wolves are looking to sign two number 10s though, and another player will be targeted to play in Cunha’s position.
It was reported last week that Wolves had interest in Evann Guessand and were considering making an offer for the Ivorian.
But there has been another suggestion about him that Wolves fans are frustrated about.
Wolves fans irked over claim Evann Guessand’s asking price may be deemed too high

Guessand is attracting attention following a productive season over in France.
Across all competitions for Nice, he scored 13 goals and provided 10 assists in 42 appearances for the club.
He is clearly a real talent, and Guessand has attributes that mark him out as a potential Cunha replacement.
But it remains to be seen if Wolves will swoop, because it’s been claimed the player’s asking price might be too high.
And that has annoyed some Wolves fans.
@JordanEason93: “I mean my personal opinion, pay the money for him I’d say! If Jose wants him then he must be good! Again just my personal opinion #wwfc.”
@aid1710: “Every player of this ilk we’ve missed out on over a few million quid has gone on to be worth triple that. I do not understand at all why we keep doing this with players who are clearly going to the top.”
@Cjamr97: “Can’t shake the feeling we’re in for another really tough season, lucks going to run out at some point.”
@GreatrexTom: “‘The Penny Has Dropped’😂😂. Ah well, made too much sense that potential signing anyway 😂.”
Wolves fans’ frustrations understandable over Guessand
So seemingly Wolves’ stance is that £25 million would be too much for Guessand.
And there have been suggestions that Nice would actually want even more money than this.
But the frustrations of some Wolves fans are understandable.
Wolves have already brought in around £100 million from the sales of Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri.
Then, there were reports that ‘the penny had dropped’ for Wolves executives, who apparently realised they needed to be spending more.
We’ll see if Wolves decide to completely abandon their pursuit of Guessand.
But given how coveted Guessand is, Wolves do run the risk of missing out if they do not make a move soon.
