Many Wolves fans would love to see Yerson Mosquera get a proper run in the starting XI.
The Colombia international is back in the picture now and building up his match fitness, after missing the majority of last season with a serious knee injury.
Back in September, Mosquera suffered ACL and MCL damage in a Premier League game against Aston Villa.

It was a huge blow for Yerson Mosquera, who had previously suffered a serious hamstring injury at Wolves shortly after joining the club.
Mosquera made just five appearances for Wolves in 2024/25, with the injury ruling him out for the remainder of the campaign.
As with another of Wolves’ returning players, Sasa Kalajdzic, there has been some talk of a potential loan move for Mosquera.
But it looks as though the plan will be for him to stick around given what’s been suggested by one new report today.
Wolves cool interest in Japhet Tanganga in boost for Yerson Mosquera

It was reported earlier today that Wolves have now cooled their interest in Millwall defender Japhet Tanganga.
Tanganga, who has a tantalisingly low release clause, has reportedly been on Wolves’ radar for a while.
Wolves’ interest in Tanganga was pushed again last month, with Sunderland also mentioned as being keen.
But TEAMtalk claim now that Wolves have backed away from Tanganga, having been considering a move.
This is good news for Mosquera, as any more for Tanganga would surely have made it difficult for him to stay as the player arguably the furthest down in the pecking order right now at Molineux.
Tanganga also has a fairly similar physical profile to Mosquera and would likely also play on the right of Wolves’ back three if he came.
So Wolves no longer considering this move may be welcomed by Mosquera.
Mosquera has fight on his hands to replace Matt Doherty
A lot of Wolves fans would love to see Mosquera used in a back three with Toti Gomes and Emmanuel Agbadou.
But it is highly unlikely we will see that from the start of the season.
Pereira is a big fan of Doherty, having previously said he ‘has the spirit that I like in a player’.

The Republic of Ireland international did well last season after moving position to play on the right of Wolves’ back three, and the manager probably won’t drop him unless someone really shows their worth a shot.
Mosquera – who cost Wolves around £4.5 million (via The Athletic) – may have to be patient to dislodge Doherty.
But Wolves have always thought highly of him and hopefully, he can rise to the challenge and also put his injury problems firmly behind him.
Pereira has praised Mosquera’s character despite the defender not yet playing under him, so between that and the decision to back away from Tanganga, the situation looks promising for the South American.
