Wolves are just a couple of weeks away from the January transfer window, it will be the most fascinating in many a year.
The Old Gold are in a dreadful position right now, sitting rock bottom of the Premier League table on just two points.
They are 16 adrift of safety, and that means that puts Wolves in a tricky spot in terms of their recruitment strategy next month.
Wolves fans, tell us below which players you think will actually leave the club in January! ❌
The likes of Strand Larsen, Andre, Agbadou and Joao Gomes have all been linked with exits…
Wolves want players who can improve the team. But club officials also have to think about the long term, and consider just how realistic staying up this season actually is. Using the window to prepare for the Championship is therefore not out of the question.
Today, a bit more information has been released regarding how Wolves will attack the January window, including the positions that will be targeted.
Wolves set to target six positions in January

There is no denying this squad needs major surgery.
At the moment, there is a strong case for this Wolves squad being the worst that’s ever been assembled in the Premier League.
It remains to be seen what Wolves can do, but technical director Matt Jackson, the recruitment team and new interim chairman Nathan Shi certainly have their work cut out.
Sky Sports have today released an article detailing the expected movements of every Premier League club in January.
And Wolves are set to try and strengthen six positions.
Wolves fans, which of these positions do Wolves need to strengthen the most urgently? 🤔 Let us know below!
These positions have been reported in a new article by Sky Sports…
They are; goalkeeper, right wing-back, centre midfield, winger, No 10 and No 9.
It is stated that Wolves ‘will be looking at what is available in the Premier League, especially players who are not featuring regularly and might want to boost their chances of playing in the World Cup by joining them on loan’.
It also said the club are seeking players who’ll boost their survival bid, but also be ‘suitable’ should the club be relegated.
Wolves’ January transfer plans are a poor reflection on some of the new players
Wolves will be busy in January, and if the information from Sky Sports is accurate, then it is a poor reflection on some of the new players that joined in the summer.
Jackson Tchatchoua has not impressed and neither has Jhon Arias. Fer Lopez has had moments, but has largely not been fancied by Vitor Pereira or Rob Edwards.
Tolu Arokodare has done OK at times, but has lacked opportunities.
Wolves likely aren’t looking at offloading the Nigerian. But it’s possible we could see Jorgen Strand Larsen leave – he is wanted by West Ham United.
