Wolves are likely to be busy on the incomings front in January, but there is a chance that Joao Gomes could leave the club with Manchester United keen.
Wolves are in a world of trouble at the moment, having taken just two points from 12 Premier League games so far.
Rob Edwards has been brought in to try and turn the situation around, but he will need to make history if he is to keep this club in the top -flight – no team has ever survived with this low a points tally after 12 matches.

Wolves are in this mess as a result of poor recruitment.
Too many top players have been sold, and been replaced with players who are levels below what they were.
The selling of top stars may well continue in the next window, with Joao Gomes a target for Manchester United.
And Ben Jacobs has now shared how much Wolves may look to demand.
Possible new Joao Gomes shared price tag shared

Recently, reports from overseas had suggested that Wolves could sell Joao Gomes for a fee in the region of £44 million.
But journalist Ben Jacobs believes that this would be slightly lower than what the club would really demand.
He said on The United Stand YouTube channel on Thursday: “Wolves could be tempted to do business in January for Joao Gomes. I think less so Jorgen Strand Larsen.
“We’ve heard reports that that number might be £44 million. I’m not so sure.
“I think £50 million or maybe even higher with add-ons is probably the ballpark. So those two (Gomes and Conor Gallagher) in January, and then it’s the same old suspects for the summer. Carlos Baleba in many ways a dream target for Manchester United.”
Earlier this month Jacobs had reported a mid-season exit for Joao Gomes would be unlikely. But seemingly the picture is changing, with United potentially set to test the Old Gold’s resolve.
Gomes has World Cup to think about

It’s going to be very interesting to see what ends up happening with Gomes in January.
No Wolves fan really wants to see him leave, given he’s one of the club’s best players, and someone who has always given his all.
But many are realistic at this point, and wouldn’t blame him for wanting to go.
Joao Gomes has never hidden his love for the Wolves fans
It remains to be seen if he will push to leave. Given his character, it doesn’t feel likely that he will agitate for a move.
However, Gomes does have his World Cup prospects to think about.
He is certainly not guaranteed a player in Brazil’s squad at the moment under Carlos Ancelotti, and he might feel he’ll boost his chances by playing for United.
