Braga are interested in signing Chiquinho from Wolves – and there is now word on what kind of deal they could pursue.
Chiquinho spent last season out on loan with Portuguese outfit Farmalicao, as he sought to get regular minutes under his belt after recovering from a serious knee injury.
Chiquinho, signed by Wolves from Estoril, made 31 appearances across all competitions, scoring five goals and making four assists.
It was a productive campaign for the 24-year-old, who will now return to Molineux.
But currently, there is speculation about the winger’s future. Last week, it was claimed Sporting CP are interested and now, there is word that Braga want him too…
Braga would like loan with option to buy on Chiquinho

Apparently, Wolves would be open to selling Chiquinho for around £8.5 million this summer.
That would net the club a small profit of around £5.5 million.
But it is thought that Gary O’Neil would first like to take a look at the player in pre-season before any decision is taken.
But for the moment, Braga are interested. And according to O Jogo, they could seek to try and sign him on loan, and include an option to buy.
It is also stated that a permanent transfer could also happen, with the two clubs enjoying a good relationship.
Any move would not be related to the deal taking Rodrigo Gomes to Molineux. It is expected he will be officially announced as a new Wolves player soon, as he is having his medical on Tuesday.
Loan with option to buy is not ideal

Sending Chiquinho out on a loan and agreeing to an option to buy sounds like it would suit Braga much more than it would Wolves.
Chiquinho has just spent a season out on loan and now it feels as though a more definitive decision needs to be made.
Selling the player can bring in some money right here and now, which can then be reinvested into new players. It doesn’t seem helpful to loan the player out and then possibly not have Braga trigger the buy option in the summer of 2025.
We will see what happens. Perhaps he will blow O’Neil away in pre-season training and he won’t end up going anywhere.
A lot of Wolves fans would really like to hope £10,000-a-week livewire Chiquinho can have a part to play for Wolves in 2024/25. Because he surely looked lively in those first months after he signed from Estoril.
