Swansea City are reportedly really keen to sign Wolves midfielder Luke Cundle again next season.
The 21-year-old has just finished his first loan spell away from Molineux.
Cundle spent the whole of 2022/23 at the Liberty Stadium, and the move was a productive one.
He finished the campaign having made 34 appearances for the club. 32 of those came in the Championship.
Wolves officials had wanted Cundle to get out and play, after being handed his debut by Bruno Lage in the 2021/22 season.
Cundle caught the eye for Wanderers, but it was clear that it was going to be tough for him to be a regular in the team in the season just gone.
Swansea keen to sign Luke Cundle again this summer
Discussions will now take place regarding the next step for Cundle.
His first loan spell away from Molineux was a success, and the debate is whether he could offer something for the first-team.

At the moment, Julen Lopetegui does have quite a few midfield options, including another academy graduate in Joe Hodge.
So it could be that Cundle heads out on loan once again.
According to Tom Coleman of WalesOnline, Swansea would be keen to sign him again this summer.
He said in an interview with Express & Star: “Absolutely. From what I understand, the club are keen to hire a manager that can continue (Russell) Martin’s work. They ideally want some level of continuity in terms of approach. If they follow through on that then Swansea could certainly do a lot worse.
“Whether Cundle himself would be interested given he clearly enjoyed working with Martin, is another matter.”
Julen Lopetegui will no doubt take a close look at Luke Cundle in pre-season, as Swansea eye deal
It is perhaps no surprise that Swansea would like to sign Cundle again.
His move there is described as ‘a real success’ by Coleman.
Swansea play a ‘possession-based, high-energy brand of football’, which has seen Cundle – described previously by Martin as ‘technically gifted’ – flourish.

That is probably a style Lopetegui is looking to implement at Wolves and so he will surely be taking a close look at Cundle this summer in pre-season.
But the Spaniard may feel the youngster could benefit from another loan move.
And of course, a permanent sale cannot be ruled out. Wolves have concerns about FFP and player sales are needed this summer.
Cundle would not fetch a massive fee. But the club selling him and a few other young and/or fringe players may be a possibility.
