Wolves fans have been reacting to a claim that one player in the squad has been valued at around £20 million this summer.
A number of players have already left Molineux this summer.
And only Fer Lopez has arrived so far, leaving some fans a little worried. Even Vitor Pereira also expressed his concern about losing players recently.
Pre-season has started now, so the hope is that it will not be much longer before a flurry of new faces arrive.
Encouragingly, Liam Keen claimed Wolves are closing in on a couple of deals – so hopefully this coming week there will be some big developments.
But while there have been several links to new players, existing members of the squad are still being linked with moves away.
And Jose Sa has now emerged as a target for Galatasaray.
Wolves fans react as Jose Sa linked with £20m Galatasaray move

Sa finished the 2024/25 season well under Pereira.
He held off the challenge from Sam Johnstone, and played the majority of games.
But despite looking fairly solid, Sa has again been linked with an exit from Wolves – and supposedly Galatasaray have him high on their transfer list, after missing out on Djordje Petrovic.
Wolves have apparently placed a £20 million valuation on Sa.
But plenty of Wolves fans think this is either untrue, or just delusional from the club.
@SamCl0ver: “Realistically he won’t move for that. But do I think we can find a better keeper. Bloke clearly loves the club and let’s be honest hasn’t been awful on his day is a very good keeper. I’d be interested to see who we get also remember our HG quota.”
@alfiep17_: “20M hahaha surely not.”
@gricey88: “We get half that at best.”
@markspruce: “We ain’t getting 20m.”
@RK13_4: “I’d snap their hand off if they got close to that.”
@bignoski82: “Snap their hand off at £10m.”
Wolves selling Sa for £20m would be incredible business
Realistically, the chances of Wolves actually raking in £20 million for Sa this summer are very low.
While he is a proven Premier League goalkeeper, he is 32 years old and into the last two years of his contract at Molineux.
If it’s true that Wolves would want £20 million for Sa, then that is clearly a ‘hands off’ message to other clubs thinking about going for him.
Jose Sa for Wolves (2021-present) |
Appearances – 146 |
Clean sheets – 36 |
Goals conceded – 212 |
It seems like a valuation placed because they do not want to lose him.
But we will see, and if the sale does happen at that price point then the new recruitment team will deserve big credit.
That said, it would be very important for them to also bring in a solid replacement.
